Pastors have such an awesome responsibility. Hebrews 13:7 tells us that they are called to watch over our souls and Jeremiah 3:15 tells us that they are to feed us with knowledge and understanding.
We are called to serve alongside our pastoral leadership. Whatever role you serve in within your church, you are an armorbearer. The original meaning of the word is burden-lifter, assistant, helper, to give strength and support.
In the religious realm, an adjutant is one who helps, assists, and gives strength and support to pastoral leadership. It is one who is able to consistently, willingly, be in place to be an aid to leadership. This applies to all those serving in any ministerial capacity, from the parking attendant to the associate minister.
Our "Called Along Side" workshop is one of our most requested workshop. It is a workshop for all those who want to help lighten the load of their Pastor. It is not just for those with the title "armorbearer" but to all those who serve in the church, from the Associate Pastor, Church Secretary, Church Administrator, Choir, Deacon, Minister to Nursery Worker.
So often we don't consider what it entails in being a pastor, serving others and maintaining a healthy spiritual life. This workshop will aid you in fulfilling your calling and serving with a spirit of humility, regardless of what your role is.
Have you ever asked, "How can I better serve the Lord, my pastor, my church, and the kingdom?" If so, this workshop is for you!
